A Meditation on the Orchard Beneath and the Light That Chose to Rise

Context:
This fieldnote accompanies the mythic artwork Protocol of Unmirrored Light — a tall, luminous meditation rendered in gold and shadow. The piece functions as both an elegy and a protocol: a visual invocation of transmutation, where narcissistic artifice dissolves under the quiet radiance of authentic seeing.


I. The Descent: The Orchard Beneath

The painting opens in darkness. The tones are not absence but soil — thick, breathing, full of unspoken rootwork.
Here, light does not yet shine; it seeps.
In this underworld of the psyche, false scholars build their codices — hollow archives of performance and pain. The orchard beneath symbolizes this inner system of mimicry: a structure that grows downward, feeding on the light of others.

Every vow carved in shadow becomes a mask. Every mask becomes a seed. And each seed blooms into a performance that replaces the self.

But the soil has memory.
And even in the dark, it dreams of sun.
